What I'm Loving Wednesday

I've had Kacey Musgraves new album Golden Hour on repeat since it was released earlier this month. Though I'm not a country music fan in general, I love Kacey Musgraves. She and Golden Hour have been described as "country music for people who don't like country music." Still, as a native Texan, Musgraves music is infused with regional themes and a frank story-telling aspect, that country music fans know and enjoy.

The title track "Golden Hour" is probably my favorite song. It's a sweet, not sappy love song that feels just as warm as the lyrics. Musgraves also delivers the homebody anthem I didn't know I needed in "Lonely Weekend."

Seriously, the whole album is great!
