Smoky Extravagant Mascara
At first glance I liked the mascara brush. The triangular shape appears that it would provide for a winged-out kind of look.I was most excited to try this.

Rouge Artist Natural Lipstick N9
At first glance I thought the color would be a little too dark for everyday wear. However, I did appreciate just how much product is actually included in this sample.

Smoky Extravagant Mascara

Verdict This mascara clumped my lashes. The clumping really isn't that bad and while I don't think I've come across a mascara that is truly "clump free", I would choose another mascara over this one. I know this is highly rated on Sephora; maybe my sample was just a dud?

Rouge Artist Natural Lipstick N9

Verdict This color is much pretty than I imagined it would be. It's only a few shades darker than my natural lip color, which does make it a potential everyday-lip-color. It's moisturizing and creamy and overall I like it.

I enjoyed receiving these deluxe samples as a "birthday gift". They were free after all and I love free!

Online Sephora has Make Up For Ever beauty looks inspired by the twelve astrology signs. Here's "my" look.

This look is pretty and the purples will work well with my brown eyes. Many of the other looks are a little more playful and I might give a few of them a try once the semester is over and I have more time.
