Ipsy Glambag November Review

Disclosure: This post contains referral links.

If you don't know, Ipsy is a monthly subscription service that sends you 4-5 beauty products in a cute makeup bag each month for $10. I love this subscription and I look forward to it each month.

The past few months I've been receiving my Ipsy bag a little later than most people. It was a pleasant surprise to see when my tacking code email came that my bag had already been delivered.  The matte pink packaging was also a little bit of a surprise. I guess they ran out of the shiny metallic ones or something.

This month's theme is "Girl Meets Glitter." So many of the products this month had glitter, shimmer or sparkles.

J Cat Beauty Wonder Lip Paint in Red Potion full size- $4.99

This was the item I was most excited to try this month. My hopes were that this would be just as good as Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar and I was really hoping for this color! I immediately opened this and applied it using a lip brush. I love love love it. The color, texture and lasting power were all great. I will be ordering more of these.

Be A Bombshell Cosmetics Eye Base in Submissive full size- $14

I have yet to try this as a base but I loved the color by itself. I like that it's a pretty neutral color and will work well under any other color.

Marc Anthony Oil of Morocco Argan Oil Volume and Shine Hairspray 1.5 oz ~ $1.50

I used this today to finish my blowout so I didn't much hold so I can't speak on this product's holding ability but I did notice the really pretty sheen it left my hair. The smell isn't overly strong so that makes it a good hairspray in my book.

Elizabeth Mott YOU'RE SO FINE Liquid Eyeliner in Glitterati full size- $17.99

Liquid eyeliner is probably my favorite kind of eyeliner. I love the glittery accents. It's not too flashy making it suitable for daytime looks.

Temptu S/B Highlighter in Pink Pearl .1 oz ~$2.70

In the picture this looks more beige but it really is a light iridescent pink. Also you probably can't tell from the picture but this is a TINY sample. Probably one of the smallest samples I have ever recieved from Ipsy. However, a little of this product goes a long way. I like that this highlighter isn't too heavy or creamy. It's very subtle.

I'm very please with this month's bag. I received 3 full sized products and the value of my bag totaled just over $40.
