Ipsy April Glam Bag Review

So literally just after I posted my last post about my Ipsy glam room I received my Ipsy bag in the mail! When I checked my tracking code this morning my bag was still at the shipping facility. Oh well, I love when packages arrive sooner than expected.

So here's what I got:

Right out of the package

The Bag
This month's theme is "Beauty Rocks!". When I saw the sneak peek picture of the bag on Ipsy's Facebook page I immediately called my mom, who also subscribes to Ipsy. I bet my husband that my mom would say "Put the needle on the record" when she saw the bag because she ALWAYS says this at any sight of a record or record player or any mention of a needle. I lost the bet because all she had to say was "Oh, that's a cute bag!" -_- It is cute bag. I like that it is a different shape than the last tree I have received.

Cailyn Tinted Lip Balm in Apple Pink 0.14 oz - $19

I've seen this in past Ipsy bags and I've always wanted to try it. I love how the lip brush fits into the lid. I received it in Apple Pink which is a nice peachy color just a shade darker than my natural lip color. I like the texture and the color really accentuates my lip shape. This is definitely a good every-day-color.

Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil in Black Velvet travel size ~ $6.33

I already own several Urban Decay eyeliners in a variety of colors. I mostly wear black so I don't mind receiving another! This eyeliner does truly last a while. It may smudge a little throughout the day, however, it still looks great.

 dr. brandt microdermabrasion 0.25 oz ~ $9.75

I'm a huge fan of facial scrubs. I'm excited to try this but I don't if I will be buying the full size since its $78. However, I will certainly enjoy this sample!

Elizabeth Mott pop! goes the shadow in Champagne 0.07 oz.- $12.99

Love the color and this feels nice on. I can never have too many highlight shadows.

St. Tropez Gradual Tan Plus Anti-Aging Multi-Action Face 0.5 oz ~ $10.94

My husband always asks "Why do keep trying fake tanners? They always look bad!" ...Well because...Someday I will find the perfect self tanner. I'm really pale so sometimes I want a little more color to my face especially in the summer. I've seen mix reviews on St. Tropez products but I'm definitely excited to try this. I'll report back with my results.

My April Glam Bag came out to a total value of about $57. Considering I only paid $10, this month was well worth it. I'm happy with everything I received this month,
